The Y of Central New Mexico is excited to post our own blog that aims to celebrate our dedication to youth development, healthy living and social responsiblity. Our members are family and we hope to provide classes that teach, evolve and empower. An organization proud of our history, we boast about the number of amazing people who have grown up through Y programming and feel that their appreciation should be shared through service in their adulthood. One of these inspirational people teaches spin weekly at our McLeod Mountainside Branch. Gina Rasinski, now an APS teacher and Century bicyclist, spent her 20's working in Y Summer day camp as a Counselor. Her memories of growing up at Y Camp Shaver has kept her connected to the magic of summer transformation for everyone involved, adults and kids alike.  Come meet Gina at the McLeod Mountainside Branch, and meet an Instructor who understands the true meaning of Learn.
